I am five years old, and I am walking (well skipping actually) through Epping Forest in the spring time in England. You have probably heard of Epping Forest - that's where Robin Hood used to hang out - right?

So here I am skipping along singing to myself, watching the path unfold beneath my feet. It was one of those really old cobblestone roads, built by the Romans and I was sure I might find some treasure at the end of it, may be some gold perhaps? Well all of a sudden I had to stop because a creek was blocking my path and this caused me to look up. What I saw took my breath away - I had found gold indeed, just not the gold I was expecting to.

There in front of me, laid out in a carpet of golden yellow is the most amazing sea of daffodils, with every now and then a clump of spiky bluebells popping up. I am totally enchanted by the sight! And then I notice an amazing smell tickling my nose, as I splash across the stream to touch these glorious flowers.

I do believe this was the beginning of my life long love affair with flowers.

My love of flowers was nurtured by living in a house with extensive gardens filled with blossoming cherries and plums in the springtime, beautiful roses blooming nearly all the year round, as well as having parents who spent many hours lovingly tending all the flowers and vegetables that grew there.

Flowers became a symbol of abundance and joy for me, so much so that even at times in my life when I was really poor, if I picked a flower and put it in a vase in my house, I felt abundant and that there was always hope that things would get better. Flowers take me back to the joy of my parents garden and those magic moments amongst the daffodils.

Later on as I became an artist, painting flowers became a natural progression for me as I sought to bring more joy and beauty into the world.

Now, I am excited to share with you some prints of the flowers that bring me so much happiness. To sprinkle my flowers throughout the world on peoples walls, that is something very special. I have realized that by offering prints of my work, I can reach so many more people and create a legacy of uplifting others in such a simple way.

I always think of flower paintings or prints as the gift that keeps on giving!

From this stunning beginning to my Nature’s Beauty collection these flowers still fill me with that same beauty and delight I had at five years old.
